Filter element:

This replacement element is made up of the following material:

C-Ultra (Carbon cylinder + Ultra-membranes): 1 micron 100% organic activated carbon cartridge + 0.03 micron ultra-membranes filter.

2in1: C-Ultra / CS-Ultra Filter:

Activated carbon cylinder with a pore size of 1 micron.

The activated carbon consists of 100% organic material (coconut bark) and has a very high adsorption capacity. Activated carbon adsorbs odor, color and taste, metals such as lead, as well as mold, chlorine and other chemicals.

Ultrafiltration membranes with a pore size of 0.03 microns

Optional: Sediment Filter Sleeve

The Sediment Filter Sleeve is very effective in filtering coarser pollution in the water such as sand and clay (sediments). The Filter Sleeve extends the life of the activated carbon and the ultrafiltration membranes because they will become clogged less quickly.

This filter is capable of producing high quality, safe and clean drinking water. The filter works without the addition of chemicals and is made of maintenance-free and corrosion-free parts.

How do I properly prepare the AQUA Logic Gravity filter element for use?

Option 1: Priming

Use the suction hose for this, with which the filter element can be filled with water. Push the suction hose onto the filter outlet and submerge the filter element completely in water. Then suck the hose until no more air bubbles are visible in the suction hose.

Option 2: With water pressure

Turn the union nut with the flat side up a little on the filter element so that 1 of the rubber rings just fits on top. Push the element with the rubber ring firmly against the tap. Turn the tap on until a fairly gentle stream of water comes out. A stream that is too strong is not good because then the water will spray in all directions, and a stream that is too soft will not give enough pressure. You must make sure that the rubber ring fits snugly on the tap so that the water goes directly through the filters and thus pushes the air out. You will then see that the filter element starts to let water through from top to bottom and the filter element becomes saturated with water in this way.
