Aqualine 18 water filter – The benefits

Glass collection tank

The beautiful glass collection tank of this Aqualine 18 is traditionally produced in a traditional glassworks in South Korea. The blue glass is intended to filter UV light. The glass is clear, looks great and is easy to clean. Because the tank is mouth blown, each tank is unique and irregularities may be present.

Excellent filtration

Extensive filtration by means of a ceramic pre-filter (0.2 micron) and a multi-step filter. As a result, microplastics, GenX, PFAS, heavy metals, medicine residues, pesticides, chlorine and hormone residues are filtered out of the water for an average of more than 99%.

pH neutral

Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter. This version makes the water pH neutral with a pH of approx. 7.5. This version does not make the water alkaline

Alkaline

Consists of a pH neutral multi-step filter + a pH ring. The pH ring has an anti-oxidant effect and raises the pH by 1 – 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water

Alkaline or Ph neutral

If you want to drink alkaline/basic water, you can choose between the alkaline or hp neutral version. Alkaline version has an anti-oxidant effect and raises the pH of the water by 1 – 1.5 pH point to slightly alkaline water. With the alkaline version, this is done by the separate pH ring that is placed on the bottom of the lower tank. This ring can possibly be removed if your choice for alkaline or pH neutral changes. The ring has nothing to do with filtering.

Ease

Without effort you can turn tap water into delicious filtered mineral water, never again lugging water bottles. Can be placed anywhere (no electricity or water connection is required).

Aqualine 18 – Technology

In nature, mineral-rich water is created because rainwater slowly seeps through different soil layers. This filters it and absorbs minerals and trace elements. The Aqualine water filter systems also work according to this principle.

Nature

By using gravity, the filtering process in the Aqualine system mimics nature. So no electricity is needed! There is no waste water as with reverse osmosis or ionizers.

Superior in filtering

The Aqualine systems are demonstrably capable of filtering up to 99% of the pollutants from the water (click here for the laboratory test report). The performance level of the Aqualine systems is therefore comparable or even superior to the filtration in most other water systems that cost up to ten times the price and also require electricity. Turns tap, rain (ton), river or ditch water into clear and healthy drinking water.

How does it work

1st stage – the ceramic filter

Ceramic filter

This filter is located in the filling tank and has a fineness of 0.2 micron (0.0002 mm). With this pre-filter you remove a large part of the pollution from the water, including bacteria, undissolved calcium and magnesium particles. The water slowly passes through the filter and then drips into the multi-stage filter.

2nd step – the multi-step filter

pH neutral filter

1st layer

High-quality, silver-impregnated, active carbon type 30X60 with a high absorption. AQ 5 multi-step filter

2nd layer

Zeolite balls. Environmentally friendly balls with a high adsorption value, filters chlorine compounds such as trihalomethane from the water and various heavy metals, makes the water softer.

3rd layer

Silica and combi balls. The balls are a combination of various substances including Tourmaline, Zeolite and Kaolin. They have a redox function and an antibacterial effect.

4th layer

Illite combi balls. Emit a far infrared frequency of 9.23 micrometers. This frequency vibrates at the same frequency as the human body. This activates cells, the microcirculation is stimulated and increases. They soften the water to a pH of about 7.5. They also have an antibacterial effect.

The filters remove odors, flavors, chemicals, carcinogens, chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, hormone and drug residues, THMs (TriHaloMethane) removed.

3rd step – making it alkaline/basic

All versions remove the same amount of pollution from the water.

If you opt for the alkaline combination, you will receive a pH ring with the pH neutral filter. With the alkaline combination, the pH of the water is increased by the supplied pH ring.

The pH ring is filled with magnetite balls, tourmaline balls, alkaline balls and magnesium balls. The Redox filter and the ring raise the pH value of the filtered water by an average of 1 – 1.5 pH point to slightly basic water.

4th step – mineralizing

Aqualine mineral stones

During the extensive filtering process, part of the minerals are filtered out of the water. In the lower tank are Elvan mineral stones. A special volcanic rock that only occurs in a few places on our earth. The Elvan stones in the Aqualine/AQV systems come from South Korea. These porous stones contain 18 different minerals that are slowly released into the filtered water. The amounts released are comparable to the minerals found in natural water. Some of these Elvan stones are impregnated with silver. As a result, no bacterial action can take place in the stagnant water. This keeps the water for weeks.

5th phase – vitalizing

Vitalizing is a special process in which nature is imitated. Water in nature will never move in a straight line like our drinking water is pumped through pipes. The water in nature collides with a stone or magnetic valve AQV, another unevenness in the river, falls down a waterfall or is pushed around a bend. The water is brought into a whirl whereby the water molecules (H2O) are given a beautiful structure by means of hydrogen bonds. The magnetic valve contains 4 different magnets of 1200 Gauss. The plus and minus of these magnets are alternated. This creates a vortex as it also happens in nature. Due to the magnetic effect, smaller clusters of the water molecules are made.

Vitalizing is a process that is commonly used in horticulture. Without adding or removing a substance, the vitalized water has a good effect on the growth of the plants.
